An absolutely gorgeous house in a beautiful location. The house is spacious and had plenty of activities like the hot tub/jacuzzi and 3-in-1 pool table, air hockey and ping pong. Location isn’t far from other locations for day trips (we went for a wild swim in Windermere!)

We had a fantastic stay here with our children, along with our friends and their children too. A great walk around the village and along the quiet country roads on New Year’s Day. It was a beautiful property, modern, clean and beautifully decorated throughout

We all had a lovely break here. The property was big enough to have eight adults and two children aged 4 and six plus two dogs. The games room/garage with the hot tub in was great as we could all play pool, air hockey, darts etc whilst keeping a watch over the young ones in the hot tub. The cleanliness of the property was excellent and your cleaning company are very good. The cinema room in the attic was beautiful but we could not get the projector to air play properly which was our fault, plus I brought my Amazon firestick but forgot the remote! We loved eating all together in the large dining room and played the many games which were available to us. I would say that serving dishes for large family meals were a miss so more oven-to-table wear would come in handy for future guest. The dog walks were limited due to access rights but fine for us as ours need very little exercise but the walks are limited from the property and the roads around the lodge are hard to walk on with traffic. The lodge was never cold and we never had to alter the heating as it was set perfectly. We did have to block the side entrance with patio furniture to keep the dogs safe in the grounds as there is no gate. We loved our visit and would not hesitate to return.
