Carsington Water features long shoreline sections and several woodland sections with great views of the surrounding countryside, with a great opportunity to spot wildlife, and the opportunity to head to nearby Ogston Reservoir. The nearby Trissington Trail follows the trackbed of a disused railway line through the stunning Peak District National Park and offers fabulous views of the Derbyshire countryside. The peak district is also home to some of the best show caverns in the country.
